Control and Algorithmics Engineer

We are looking for Elbit Systems in Yokneam is looking for a Control and Algorithms Engineer for the Servo, Navigation and Estimation domain. Join a multidisciplinary team developing advanced technological solutions for complex defense systems. In this role, you will take part in the development of innovative control and estimation algorithms integrated into real-time operational systems, working closely with system engineers, hardware, communication and algorithm teams. In this role you will Design and develop linear and nonlinear controllers according to system requirements Work in both state-space and frequency domains, including stability analysis, performance optimization and system tuning Develop and execute dynamic simulations using MATLAB / SIMULINK and implement algorithms in digital controllers Develop tools for digital control, estimation and dynamic parameter identification Write control software in C and MATLAB, including testing and functional validation Integrate sensing components, with emphasis on inertial sensors and real-time measurement systems Support system experiments and field tests in Israel and abroad Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across system, hardware, communication and algorithm domains Requirements B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Strong knowledge of classical, linear and nonlinear control theory and state-space control Full proficiency in MATLAB and SIMULINK, including control toolboxes Proven experience in digital controller development and closing servo control loops Knowledge of Kalman Filters, parameter identification and estimation under measurement noise Knowledge in sensor fusion - Advantage Experience in C programming and real-time systems environments - Advantage *Only relevant applications will be answered *The position is open to women and men alike **Only relevant applications will be answered #Yokneam Illit
